ARMOURED CABLES

There are ARMOURED CABLES offered by us that is used for submarine communications cable to protect against damage by fishing vessels and wildlife. Early cables carrying telegraph used iron wire armouring, but later switched to steel. It is a common cable with a protective layer between the jackets. It can withstand higher tension and is buried directly underground. The ARMOURED CABLES with an outside layer or layers of armour wired or tapes to provide tensile strength during the cable laying operation, and protection while resting underground.
